About the Role:

The American Dental Association is seeking a highly skilled Training and Assessment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering all aspects of volunteer and program training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain all training resources, programs, and manuals.
  • Assess training needs and volunteer performance to modify and/or develop new and enhanced training programs.
  • Manage volunteer recruitment and retention activities, and maintain all required volunteer annual paperwork documentation.
  • Provide primary staff support to the Commission's Standing Committee on Site Visit Process and Training.
  • Work with other CODA Managers to ensure accurate information is maintained in CODA's electronic records, on the Commission's website, and in all internal and external documents related to training records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Learning/Education, Online Learning, Curriculum Development, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in/with development of content and training programs for live, synchronous, and asynchronous training, and use of Learning Management Systems to deliver training; or 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience writing, editing, and managing training programs, with emphasis on working with and developing training content for a diverse audience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
