Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Systems Analyst to provide technical and training support for the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) Department of Defense (DOD) Operational Support Facility (OSF) in St. Inigoes, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, develop, implement, and maintain STARS rules, radar video maps, and adaptation databases using source data and ATC knowledge and skills.
  • Design and monitor the execution of test and implementation plans.
  • Review proposed software modifications for their impact on the operational environment and support software.
  • Develop and edit training material as required.
  • Provide STARS technical assistance to operational field personnel for software and adaptation malfunctions.
Requirements
  • High School diploma and at least 8 years of related experience.
  • Minimum four years of Military Air Traffic Control experience.
  • FAA certified.
  • Knowledge of ATCoach software.
  • Operational experience with STARS or MEARTS Automation experience.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Approach Control qualification.
  • Proficiency in developing ATC simulation scenarios.
  • STARS Automation Systems Specialist.
  • Proficiency in developing and establishing procedures for automation and simulations.
  • Familiarity with UNIX operating language.
