FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify, define, analyze, and generate complex specifications for testing, coordination of systems, proposal submissions, and applied research and development performance.

Develop, document, and implement solutions to intricate technical challenges related to the analysis, design, development, operation, and/or modification of engineering products and services.

Research, analyze, and conduct design and development of equipment (hardware/software), system analyses, process studies, and investigations for complex technical issues.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships and exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering teams, subcontractors, and/or clients.

Research, prepare, and deliver intricate technical presentations to senior management and/or clients.

Define, design, and develop system requirements.

Assess architecture and current hardware limitations.

Define and design complex system specifications, input/output processes, and operational parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

Coordinate subsystem design and total system integration.

Analyze and resolve challenging program support deficiencies.

Conduct independent technical investigations of system design.

Coordinate and consolidate design efforts on major projects.

Provide functional and technical guidance to junior engineers in all aspects of engineering projects. Organize and lead assigned sections of major program reviews, design reviews, and proposals.
