Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a primary support contact and authority for data virtualization tools.
  • Collaborates with various departments to ascertain and define reporting needs.
  • Enhances existing reports and dashboards to optimize performance and presentation.
  • Develops and delivers reporting solutions by creating new reports.
  • Identifies, specifies, queries, validates, and delivers standard and custom reports.
  • Develops, validates, and provides ongoing support for operational and project-related reports, scripts, and data analysis.
  • Offers technical direction, guidance, and assistance during project development, ensuring data integrity and quality control of delivered reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS in Business Information Systems or a related field, plus 4-6 years of directly related experience, OR a MA/MS in Business Information Systems or a related field, plus 2-4 years of directly related experience.
  • Proficient in writing Business Intelligence (BI) reports.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as IBM Cognos Analytics, CostPoint Enterprise Reporting, or Cognos Impromptu.
  • Experience with various database platforms, including Oracle and SQL.
  • Proficient in a Microsoft 365 environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of various BI tools, including IBM Cognos Analytics, Costpoint Enterprise Reporting, and Cognos Impromptu.
  • Experience with Data Warehousing, Oracle, and SQL.
