Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented FSU Administrative Specialist to support our Human Resources functions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in preparing and posting open positions, screening applications, and administering pre-employment testing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and post open positions internally and externally, including coordinating newspaper advertisements and screening applications for completeness.
  2. Administer pre-employment testing, schedule interviews, and code applications for forwarding to the home office.
  3. Facilitate new employee orientation, providing necessary information and documentation in a timely manner.
  4. Provide assistance to employees regarding health, dental, and life insurance programs, including eligibility, enrollment, and changes.
  5. Coordinate company activities, drives, and special promotions, including communicating events and scheduling appointments.
  6. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, composing reports, and responding to inquiries.
  7. Sort and distribute documents, track and verify temporary agency services, and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of company business and comply with corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of office experience.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
Preferred Requirements
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws concerning employment practices.
