Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Houston Marriott Westchase Hotel. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process, and providing a personalized experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and register guests, assigning rooms and ensuring a smooth check-in process
- Follow company and brand standards for guest service policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on room availability and guest upgrade options
- Make and confirm guest reservations
- Promote Marriott Bonvoy Rewards program
- Ensure all charges are posted to guest accounts and collect payment
- Issue room keys and maintain knowledge of various room types, amenities, and room rates
- Assist AYS operators and address guest complaints in a professional manner
- Previous front desk agent, guest services, night audit, customer service, or reservationist experience required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Able to effectively communicate with guests and resolve complaints in a professional manner
- Ability to accurately input guest information using a computer and software applications
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for 8-hour shifts and move throughout the front desk area
