Position Title: Federal Grants Coordinator

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Contract Type: Contract

Role Summary:

We are in search of a driven and knowledgeable Federal Grants Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing grant programs while ensuring adherence to federal standards and regulations. Strong analytical and organizational capabilities are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire grant application process, including the development of proposals, budget management, compliance with regulations, and reporting.
  • Ensure all activities align with federal guidelines and regulations governing grant management.
  • Formulate and implement policies and procedures for effective grant oversight.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple grant projects.
  • Track and monitor grant expenditures, providing performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project and finance teams to meet grant objectives and ensure proper utilization of funds.
  • Prepare and submit necessary grant documentation and reports punctually.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records related to grant management.
  • Offer guidance and training to grant recipients and project teams.
  • Communicate compliance requirements to project teams and serve as a liaison with federal officials.
  • Establish a routine reporting framework to facilitate quarterly and semi-annual reporting.
  • Stay informed about updates in federal grant regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred five to seven years of experience in federal grant management.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal regulations and guidelines pertaining to grant management.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per week (onsite during business hours).
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Experience in overseeing and evaluating reporting inputs from various team members.
  • Experience working with diverse communities is a plus.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with federal grant management systems.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in grant accounting and financial oversight, including budget development and monitoring.
  • Understanding of program evaluation methods and experience in data collection and analysis.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to handle multiple grants and priorities.
  • Effective communication skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges in grant administration.
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations effectively.
  • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with grant management software and systems.
