Description
Grant Reporting Specialist
Inspiritus' Refugee & Immigrant Services team provides services to refugees and immigrants to guide them on a path from surviving to thriving. The Grant Reporting Specialist's primary responsibility will be to support grant reporting activities by gathering various supporting information required by federal grants. The Grant Reporting Specialist will help to ensure quality and consistency in data collection and invoice reporting. The position reports to Assistant Director of Youth and Immigrant Services.
Position Details:

  • Work Environment:
    This is a hybrid full-time position. Some duties can be done remotely while some others require operating in a professional office environment.

Essential Functions:
  • Collect documentation required for invoicing and billing.
  • Responsible for timely monthly invoices.
  • Ensures that all receipts and other billing documents are accounted for and accurate.
  • Assure completion of all quality and outcome reporting as required by funders.
  • Maintains personal and professional boundaries in the performance of the job.
  • Forges mutually respectful partnerships with volunteers, co-workers, and partners.
  • Participates in Inspiritus functions and public relations activities as needed.
  • Participates in in-service training and conferences related to assigned programs.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
  • Complies with the various federal, state, or local laws that apply to and regulate their job duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet program needs.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and two years general office experience including typing and/or keypunching data into a computer and monitoring data in paper and electronic format or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
  • Superior computer skills including knowledge of Excel (Create spreadsheets, sort, dropdown menus, formulas, look up table, etc.) and Access or another database.
  • Ability to be organized, multitask, and work independently.
  • Ability to communicate with all persons in a culturally competent manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidential nature of the position.
  • Must be accurate, detail oriented and organized.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks.
  • Must have good time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with all persons in a culturally competent manner.
  • Must be sensitive to the service populations' cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
