About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist who is enthusiastic about technology and committed to delivering exceptional support to our users. This role involves collaboration with our technology and human resources teams to enhance the overall experience for everyone at Small Door Veterinary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical assistance to users, resolving both hardware and software challenges to maintain smooth operations.
  • Assist in setting up network configurations, printers, and software systems for new locations, ensuring efficient operational launches.
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team to facilitate comprehensive IT onboarding sessions for new employees, equipping them with essential system knowledge.
  • Support the daily management of our IT infrastructure, contributing to the seamless functioning of our services.
  • Partner with the IT Manager on various projects and initiatives, providing valuable insights and support.
  • Document technical challenges, solutions, and processes to promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Work with vendors to acquire necessary equipment for both new and existing staff, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
  • Manage the return and repair of hardware, ensuring all equipment is fully operational and well-maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in both MacOS and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Okta, Mosyle, Slack, and Notion, demonstrating familiarity with essential workplace tools.
  • At least one year of experience in IT operations, with exposure to IT Helpdesk platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to assist users effectively with technical issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
