Human Resources Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in providing both administrative and technical assistance to the Human Resources department. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Adheres to all integrity protocols and procedures, ensuring the protection of employee data.
2. Manages and organizes files for staff employment applications and resumes.
3. Conducts thorough reference checks for final candidates.
4. Pre-screens applicants and administers necessary pre-employment assessments.
5. Facilitates the processing of new hire documentation and maintains accurate employee records in HRIS.
6. Assists employees in completing benefit enrollment forms.
7. Aids in conducting orientation sessions for new hires.
8. Collects and maintains personnel data for HRIS and reporting purposes.
9. Prepares reports, memos, correspondence, performance evaluations, and other necessary documentation.
10. Proofreads materials to ensure accuracy in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and numerical data.
11. Reconciles monthly billing for drug screening services.
12. Posts job vacancies across internal and external platforms.
13. Researches and identifies training resources, programs, and presenters.
14. Coordinates logistics for training sessions and activities.
15. Supports employee recognition initiatives and certificate distribution.
16. Monitors the staff mentoring program.
17. May provide training on Student Sexual Harassment Identification and Prevention to new student intakes on a weekly basis.
18. Delivers high-quality work and assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
19. Maintains personal attendance, accountability, and productivity standards.
20. Effectively plans, prioritizes, and organizes tasks to meet established objectives and deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited institution is preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in human resources is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Human Resources Certification is preferred.
