General Store Operations Manager

Overview:
CFC Properties, a subsidiary of Cook Group, is dedicated to the preservation and management of historically and architecturally significant properties, encompassing commercial, retail, residential, and hospitality sectors.
The General Store Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all facets of store management, including leadership, supervision, financial oversight, maintenance, and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director to monitor and optimize retail budgets, product inventory, purchasing, and sales.
- Stay informed about inventory pricing and adjust store pricing as necessary across various categories.
- Ensure adherence to all cash handling protocols, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage mail/package collection and ensure timely processing of on-site bills.
- Assist in daily accounting tasks, including bank deposits and change management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food preparation and facility maintenance.
- Supervise, train, and develop team members, conducting annual performance evaluations and wage reviews.
- Create staff work schedules and delegate specific tasks as required.
- Plan and execute daily specials and regular menu offerings.
- Uphold compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Exemplify exceptional customer service.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a food service setting.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Understanding of accounting and cash control processes.
- Food Manager Certification required or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- IN UST Certification required or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with diverse individuals.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
- Commitment to maintaining company quality and quantity standards.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to climb stairs and perform bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
- Occasional use of a ladder for climbing.
- Ability to lift over 20 pounds frequently.
- Close visual acuity for tasks involving computers and similar equipment.
