About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Village Pantry. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our convenience store by leading a team of sales associates and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and employee development.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales associates to ensure a skilled and enthusiastic team.
  • Provide inspirational feedback and coaching to foster a motivated work environment.
  • Manage key financial aspects, including cash handling, inventory control, and sales reporting.
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked, clean, and safe for customers and employees.
  • Step in for the Store Manager as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Access to a car or other motorized vehicle
  • Liability insurance on such vehicle
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and days
  • Fluent in English with basic math skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
