Key Responsibilities- Supervise, coach, and mentor project resources assigned to their portfolio.
- Ensure the overall health of their sub-portfolio, providing expertise and leadership to ensure all projects remain within scope, on budget, and on schedule.
- Provide oversight over projects and programs within their sub-portfolio, serving as an advisor and escalation point to program managers, project managers, senior project managers, and project coordinators.
- Ensure the sub-portfolio's component projects and programs are delivered within scope, according to deadlines, within budget, and adhere to quality standards set forth by leadership.
- Develop project charters, build project work breakdown structures and schedules, develop detailed project organization charts and role/responsibility descriptions, perform meeting management, communicate progress/status and health, enforce quality management, and manage risks, issues, decisions, action items, dependencies, and changes.
- Master's degree in Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field.
- Over 10 years of total post-collegiate relevant professional experience.
- 6 years of project management experience leading information technology projects, including requesting/securing approval to start projects through project closeout.
- 5 years of coaching, mentoring, and providing day-to-day direction and support to employees.
- 2 years implementing technology solutions in a healthcare provider environment.
- Mastery of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, including tools and techniques.
