Job Summary

Cathay Bank is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring existing commercial loan portfolios, working closely with Senior Relationship Managers to identify and bring in new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit underwriting, loan account relationship management, and commercial lending. They will be able to provide best-in-class service to clients while following established Bank policies and procedures.

The Portfolio Manager will work closely with the Senior Relationship Manager and Team Managers to monitor and manage the credit quality of the assigned loan portfolio. They will review each credit to ensure it is properly risk-rated based on the Bank's risk rating system.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-production environment. They will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
