Portfolio Manager Assistant

About the Role:

PineBridge Investments is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Portfolio Manager to support portfolio managers in the optimization and management of CLO portfolios. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of direct experience with collateralized loan obligations or broadly syndicated loans, strong proficiency in CLO documentation, and expertise in platforms such as Intex, Moody's Analytics, and Bloomberg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist portfolio managers with portfolio management, optimization, and analysis.
  • Review and sign off on CLO trustee reports, waterfalls, and CLO investor letters.
  • Monitor CLO fund compliance.
  • Assist with new deal modeling, structuring, and document negotiations.
  • Interpret CLO indentures and advise portfolio managers.
  • Oversee/monitor CLO warehouses and fund setup with internal and external parties.
  • Support development and updates of marketing materials.
  • Perform waterfall attribution, variance analysis, and projections.
  • Assist with post-investment period portfolio management and compliance.
  • Make trade recommendations.
  • Perform cash flow modeling and other performance analysis.
  • Monitor the accuracy of fund administration by the Trustee and Operations team.
  • Run hypo trades and perform/oversee pre-trade compliance analysis.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform attribution analysis.
  • Handle ad-hoc and routine investor requests.
  • Build new models/tools as needed.
  • Assist in preparing responses for DDQ and RFP requests.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for investors.
  • Coordinate with Operations in CLO Administration.
