Job Description

At IDB Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for performing timely financial analysis and underwriting for renewals, annual reviews, and modifications. You will also be responsible for monitoring the portfolio for indicators of stress or risk, such as failed covenants, downward financial statement trends, and payment schedule interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial analysis and underwriting for renewals, annual reviews, and modifications
  • Monitor the portfolio for indicators of stress or risk
  • Keep Relationship Managers informed of any issues with credit or portfolio risk
  • Identify and inform Relationship Managers of cross-sell, referral, and credit expansion opportunities
  • Ensure thorough and on-time collection of financial statements, rent rolls, and other required reporting requirements
  • Support Relationship Managers in providing top client service
  • Remain well-informed on all client matters to minimize risk
  • Complete annual reviews of credits
  • Remain fully compliant on all client matters
  • Achieve individual goals and contribute to team goals
  • Develop positive working relationships with all segments and individual bank partners
  • Complete all required training
  • Conduct oneself as a true brand ambassador for the bank
Qualifications:
  • Strong credit and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of commercial real estate credit facilities
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in commercial loan portfolio management or underwriting
  • Ability to work as part of the Middle Office team
  • Willingness to take on special projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
Compensation:

The expected annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual's skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
