Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Risk Manager to join our team at Baldwin Risk Partners. As a key member of our Commercial Risk Management Group, you will be responsible for coordinating carrier relationships, leading service teams on large accounts, and developing initial placement/renewal strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with commercial carriers to ensure optimal service delivery and risk management solutions for our clients.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies for assigned accounts, including risk mapping and peer reviewing.
  • Coordinate service delivery, including developing initial placement/renewal strategies and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and bring issues to leadership for resolution.
  • Mentor new colleagues and provide guidance on risk management best practices.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in commercial account management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective risk management strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
