Position Overview:
The Instrumentation Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth in the designated territory by offering expert support and technical knowledge throughout the sales process. This role is crucial in articulating OleumTech's unique value proposition to secure business and provide ongoing support, including field assistance, making the Technical Sales Engineer a vital part of the OleumTech sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-sales and post-sales assistance to meet sales objectives within the assigned territory.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships across all levels of customer organizations, aiming to become a trusted advisor and expert on OleumTech's product range and applications.
- Engage with clients to support all facets of business development.
- Assist customers in the field with OleumTech implementations and troubleshooting.
- Present technical information to clients, showcasing OleumTech's innovative solutions during meetings, training sessions, conferences, and seminars.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and company-sponsored events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to address customer challenges and document best practices to enhance overall team effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and visits in the company's CRM system.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations with minimal notice.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. You should possess a solid understanding of industrial instrumentation and wireless technologies, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A BA/BS degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 6 years of pre/post-sales experience in the oil and gas sector, is preferred.
