Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Infojini Inc. for a 13-week contract position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and coordinate discharge plans, follow-up care, and outpatient prescriptions.
  • Evaluate patient intervention outcomes and assist with hospital rounds and management of hospitalized patients.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cancer risk factors, diagnoses, disease processes, and treatment options.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse and NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner and BCLS certification required; ACLS certification required.
  • Minimum two years' experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cancer-specific certification in the nurse's specialty by an accredited certification program.
  • Oncology nursing certifications such as AOCNP, AOCNS, AOCN, BMTCN, CPHON, CPON, CBCN, or OCN.

Work Environment

This is a contract position with a 12-hour shift and 38 hours per week. The work location is on the road.
