Job Summary:
As a Patient Access Representative at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for patients, families, and visitors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
• Interview patients or relatives to obtain demographic and financial information required for registration and admission
• Verify insurance benefits and explain financial requirements to patients or their representatives
• Collect outstanding patient portions prior to or at the point of service
• Serve as a mentor to new associates and assist in new employee orientation
• Collaborate with administration, management, physicians, and other staff members to support patients, visitors, and other customers

Requirements:
• Office experience in a healthcare environment, medical terminology, and ability to multitask and prioritize skills preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows XP, Windows 7, and utilization of website search engines
• High School diploma required
• Physical Requirements: Sedentary work (prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
