About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Account Representative to join our team in the Hardlines category. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for recruiting and launching businesses within our many different categories, serving as the primary point of contact for those companies throughout the entire sales process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline of high-value, strategic accounts while executing sales strategies to secure deals that exceed output goals.
  • Identify and build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the senior and C-level management and executive teams of prospective accounts, as well as internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze customer data and make recommendations to maximize the potential of assigned territories, executing successfully on recommended plans.
  • Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of sellers in your territory, using these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal team.
  • Prospect and close business to achieve quarterly quota targets for both the quantity and quality of sellers recruited.
  • Understand and utilize the right tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress, forecasting and prioritizing to achieve quarterly goals.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry, including knowledge of product offerings.
  • Prioritize and complete additional projects while maintaining current book of business, such as mentorship and sales.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective territory.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling on Amazon product.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products, along with their features and functionalities.
  • Assist internal partners to drive change, remove roadblocks, and close business.
About the Team

Our team specializes in recruitment and development of new-to-Amazon sellers (brand owners and strategic resellers) in the Hardlines categories. We are customer-obsessed (both seller and buyer) and focus on delivering best-in-class growth recommendations for our selling partners while highlighting unique selection at competitive prices for our end customers.

Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with pipeline management skills, including utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals.

The base pay for this position ranges from $43,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $92,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
