Retail Operations Supervisor

In the role of Retail Operations Supervisor, you will provide guidance and direction to the store team, effectively implementing the company's vision and values in collaboration with the Store Manager.

You will play a key role in enhancing store profitability by achieving sales targets. Ensuring that merchandising and operational standards are upheld is crucial. You will cultivate an inclusive atmosphere and exemplify exceptional customer engagement that surpasses industry norms. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will take on full responsibility for the store.

Your Impact

Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to achieving and maximizing store sales goals while tracking progress against key performance indicators. Foster a customer-centric culture within the store through authentic interactions with shoppers. Assist the Store Manager in sourcing and recruiting high-quality, diverse talent.

Provide direct coaching, constructive feedback, training, and oversight of the team, ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.



Approach:

By consistently demonstrating effective communication and training, you will help set clear expectations for customer engagement and store policies, while promoting a high-performing team environment.

Manage labor and payroll expenses to optimize sales and profitability.

Encourage a productive atmosphere by ensuring the team possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve store objectives for sales and customer engagement.



Success Metrics:
Achieving and surpassing sales results and business objectives will be a testament to your leadership. You will assist the Store Manager in developing and coaching the team, lead by example, promote an inclusive store culture, and create outstanding customer experiences in all circumstances.

Essential Skills

Relevant Experience:

  • 3+ years in retail management
Educational Background:

  • While formal education and advanced degrees are valued, we prioritize your overall experience and professional accomplishments.
Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for the duration of the work shift
  • Capability to bend, lift, open, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds (as required)

We expect you to have a solid understanding of how to achieve business goals through effective team leadership, coaching, and motivation to excel in sales and profitability. Strong communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and adaptability in a dynamic environment are essential.

Compensation Range:

$22.08 USD - $33.12 USD per hour

Minimum Starting Rate:

$20.00

Incentive Opportunities:

This position may qualify for additional compensation awards, including an annual incentive plan, sales incentives, or commission potential. Specific details regarding additional compensation eligibility will be discussed during the recruitment and interview process.
