Position Overview
The JF Petroleum Group is a leading provider in the North American fueling infrastructure sector, delivering all-encompassing solutions for distribution, construction, and service requirements. Our clientele ranges from retail fueling stations to commercial and governmental fleets, as well as emergency power clients.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Parts Supervisor, you will oversee parts operations, including the receiving, storage, and shipping of materials within a warehouse environment of 3,000 to 10,000 square feet, without direct supervision. Your duties will include:
- Processing orders by managing transfers and generating sales orders in NAV, pulling materials, packing items, and organizing deliveries.
- Engaging in physical inventory and cycle counting, ensuring proper product movement and placement, and executing tasks related to receiving, identifying, labeling, restocking, picking, packing, and shipping while adhering to quality and productivity standards.
- Maintaining Min/Max inventory levels and ensuring accuracy in bin locations.
- Conducting research for parts requested by customers and service technicians.
- Facilitating the return of customer cores and warranty items.
- Meeting or surpassing customer service expectations while complying with company policies and procedures.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, and enforcing property protection policies.
- Confirming receipts in P21/NAV for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Upholding cleanliness and organization within the workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
- Driving over-the-counter sales through exceptional customer service.
- Occasionally delivering items to local customers and technicians using a company vehicle.
- Assisting the Service Manager/Director with inquiries related to installations or parts requirements.
- Coordinating the unloading and receipt of multiple truckloads of materials daily, including scheduling with freight companies.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must pass a 60-month Motor Vehicle Record check.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with modern warehouse and inventory management systems.
- Experience in cycle counting, shipping, receiving, and storage operations.
- Willingness to accept calls and work outside of regular hours.
- Proficiency in barcoding, data entry, and ERP systems.
- Strong customer service skills and focus.
- High level of organization and attention to detail (5S Lean Warehousing principles).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to meet company employment requirements, including passing a drug screening, criminal background check, and MVR if driving is involved.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing for 8-10 hours daily.
- Capability to safely operate a forklift and navigate stairs as needed.
- Physical demands include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds, visual acuity, speech and hearing, and manual dexterity for operating office equipment.
