Client Support Specialist - Remote, Flexible Hours

Work Schedule:

This role requires flexibility to work any 8-hour shift during our operational hours, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 8 PM Eastern Time, based on business needs (NO WEEKENDS).

Compensation:

Annual salary ranges from $40,000 to $42,000, with the potential to earn a 5% annual bonus.

Training:

Comprehensive 10-week paid virtual training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish rapport with customers, ask insightful questions, and strive to deliver a premier experience while resolving inquiries on the first contact.
  • Inform customers about the various services MassMutual offers for their retirement planning.
  • Utilize your knowledge to independently address many issues while seeking assistance in more complex scenarios.
  • Manage your time effectively to ensure the department meets service level expectations.
  • Employ multiple systems and tools to achieve established goals and objectives, including customer satisfaction, first contact resolution, call quality, and handling time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (or an undergraduate degree in lieu of experience).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of customer service experience.
  • College degree.
  • Experience in insurance or annuity servicing, financial products, hospitality, or retail sales with significant direct consumer interaction.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment while multitasking and navigating various systems and applications.
