Your Role at Kosas

We are seeking a Senior Copy Strategist who excels in crafting compelling narratives and managing diverse projects with finesse. You will play a pivotal role in embodying the essence and character of Kosas, so a creative mindset and proactive attitude are essential.

Your responsibilities will encompass creating engaging content for social media, SMS communications, and influencer outreach, as well as contributing to product naming and campaign ideation. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the beauty industry, stays informed on cultural trends, and brings innovative ideas to keep our messaging vibrant, relevant, and distinctly Kosas. You will report directly to the Head of Editorial Brand Strategy.

Key Contributions

  • Develop and refine key messaging across various platforms including website, social media, email, and paid advertising.
  • Craft engaging copy for social media and SMS campaigns.
  • Analyze best practices, trends, and fresh content ideas to enhance performance across digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Editorial Brand Strategy to create impactful, brand-aligned messaging.
  • Work closely with design, marketing, and other teams to ensure cohesive copy across all channels.
  • Produce promotional content, including gift-with-purchase and sales copy.
  • Review and proofread product descriptions and related materials for accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting, with a focus on similar responsibilities.
  • Outstanding grammar and proofreading abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
  • A strong interest in beauty, social media, and the dynamic digital landscape.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Proficient in writing for various digital platforms (website, social media, email, etc.).
  • Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

The salary range for this full-time position is between $115,000 and $125,000 annually. Please note that this range serves as a guideline, and total compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, and other factors.
