Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our media relations team, you'll be responsible for securing media coverage, building new media relationships, and executing strategic media relations plans. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their goals and develop customized pitches to business and technology outlets.

Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in client calls and meetings, providing counsel and support as needed
  • Develop and execute strategic media relations plans, leveraging existing relationships with reporters and outlets
  • Drive proactive and strategic media coverage for clients, ensuring the team is constantly conducting proactive media outreach
  • Build new media relationships, securing and staffing interviews, and developing savvy/timely ideas
  • Contribute to overall account strategy, helping to conduct mock interviews with executives and evaluating media coverage
  • Support programs such as speaker opportunity identification, ideation, and submission, as well as analyst relations outreach and briefings
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B tech PR, with 1-2 years specifically in media relations
  • Strong understanding of media relations, public relations, and social media
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
