Job Summary

The Dietary Aide and Nutrition Coordinator is an integral part of our dietary team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service to our residents. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of food and ensure the timely delivery of meals to residents, adhering to dietary orders and tray cards.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including work areas and floors.
  • Clean and sanitize utensils, dishes, and equipment, ensuring proper storage and rotation of food and supplies.
  • Participate in training and in-services to enhance knowledge and skills in food preparation, sanitation, and customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the dietary team and ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Food Handler Permit as required by the State.
  • Some High School education preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation.
