Youth Development Sports Program Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Development Coordinator to oversee the policies, procedures, and organization of our youth sports programs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth in varying capacities and possess strong supervisory skills.
The Youth Development Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Hiring, training, and supervising a team of Associate 1 Level Staff (Coaches, Gym Monitors, Program Staff, Refs, etc.)
- Creating and managing staff and program rosters/schedules (Rosters, game schedules, etc.)
- Ensuring clear and prompt communication with all program participants, parents, and volunteers
- Performing regular and frequent program site observations to ensure high-quality programs using YMCA best practices
- Meeting seasonal fiscal plans to ensure financial success of YMCA Youth Sports Programs
- Developing and implementing innovative Youth Sports Program ideas
- Building and expanding the Youth Sports programs in participant numbers and sports offerings
- Providing excellent customer service to program participants
Requirements:
- Must pass YMCA background check
- 2 years of working with youth in varying capacities
- 2 years of supervisory experience in varying capacities
- Prior work experience with Youth Sports program implementation preferred
- Reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to acquire certifications within 30 days of employment
- Must be available evenings and weekends for program practice times and game schedules
29 hours per week
