Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our team in Austin, TX.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team that supports the technology organization in embedding cybersecurity into their products and services globally. This includes driving security architecture/design, implementation, and optimization for web, API, and mobile backend applications across Visa.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, secure architecture and design, threat modeling, and product security. They will also have experience with databases, data warehousing, and business data mining, as well as project strategy, management, and implementation.

The Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for conducting and facilitating security architecture assessments, defining solution-level security architecture, and identifying and analyzing system and application-level vulnerabilities. They will also be responsible for aligning the services provided by Cybersecurity to match the strategic needs of regional businesses.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, and 6 years of experience in a related occupation. They will also have experience with cloud security, secure architecture and design, threat modeling, and product security.

This is a hybrid position, and the employee will be expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
