Fluids Valve Design Engineer Mid Career- Lunar Transportatio

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Fluids Valve Design Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the next generation of cryogenic valves for our Lunar program.
This is a unique opportunity to join a talented team of engineers and contribute to the development of sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop cryogenic valves for our Lunar program
- Work with suppliers and other support organizations to procure, fabricate, and install flight hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance, safety, and reliability requirements
- Conduct design analysis and testing to evaluate the performance of your designs
- Mentor entry-level engineers and perform technical peer reviews
- B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in valve and or mechanical+fluids component design
- Knowledge of propulsion and fluid system components (i.e. valves, regulators and pumps for cryogenics, propellants, and other fluids)
- Experience designing parts in CREO
- Ability to apply GD&T to create manufacturable, high performing component drawings
- Experience using design analysis tools such as ANSYS and Thermal Desktop to evaluate the performance of your designs
- Advanced Engineering degree
- Experience with static and non-linear FEA analysis (ANSYS)
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerance
