Fluids Valve Design Engineer Mid Career

We are seeking a skilled Fluids Valve Design Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Lunar Permanence business unit, you will play a critical role in designing the next generation of cryogenic valves for our Lunar program.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop cryogenic valves for use on our Lunar program
- Work with suppliers and other support organizations to procure, fabricate, and install flight hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance and safety requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings
- Conduct design analysis and testing to ensure valve performance and reliability
- B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in valve and/or mechanical/fluids component design
- Knowledge of propulsion and fluid system components
- Experience designing parts in CREO and applying GD&T
- Ability to use design analysis tools such as ANSYS and Thermal Desktop
- Advanced Engineering degree
- Experience with static and non-linear FEA analysis (ANSYS)
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerance
