Baker Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Quality Brand Group LLC, a multi-store franchisee of Dunkin' Donuts. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a Positive Team Environment:
    • Arrive on time and be ready to work at the start of your shift.
    • Demonstrate respect and dignity in interactions with colleagues and guests.
    • Follow established communication guidelines.
    • Respond positively to feedback and coaching, and show enthusiasm for learning.
    • Take ownership of your responsibilities during your shift.
    • Dedicate yourself to learning and being capable of performing multiple tasks.
    • Receive specialized training in baking and prepare donuts and other baked goods for the restaurant.
  • Be Passionate About Operational Excellence:
    • Always prioritize guest satisfaction and ensure each guest has a positive experience before leaving the restaurant.
    • Feel empowered to respond to guest needs and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
    • Adhere to established brand and company standards and systems, delivering high-quality food and beverages to each guest.
    • Follow all safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines, including compliance with applicable laws.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking, taking out trash and cardboard, and completing thorough cleaning of guest areas and restrooms as directed.
    • Adhere to uniform standards, including a hat, name tag, clean pressed apron, and white collared shirt, dark blue jeans without rips or holes, and non-slip shoes.
  • Meet Minimum Qualifications:
    • Have basic computer skills, as some training is conducted online.
    • Have basic math skills to handle cash and make change.
    • Be physically and mentally capable of learning to operate standard restaurant equipment, including lifting 30-50 pounds and using motion that involves pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
