Key Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group collaborates with leading medical facilities to deliver exceptional OB/GYN hospitalist services. We are currently seeking a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to enhance our dedicated team.
- Engage with our in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU, managing approximately 1,700 deliveries each year.
- Access to maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk cases.
- 24/7 anesthesiology services available on-site.
- Core responsibilities encompass: OB triage, patient admissions, overseeing deliveries, inpatient care, attending to unassigned patients, private call coverage, managing the OB floor, ER consultations for GYN emergencies, assisting in surgical procedures such as cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, and emergency interventions during labor and delivery.
- Shifts consist of 24-hour in-house coverage.
- Possession of an active TX medical license or active IMLC is mandatory.
- Board Certification in OB/GYN with recent hospitalist experience is essential.
