Per Diem OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is collaborating with a prominent medical center to deliver exceptional OB/GYN hospitalist services to the surrounding community. We are seeking a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to fulfill the following duties:
  • Work in conjunction with our dedicated in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU, which handles approximately 1,700 deliveries each year.
  • Access to maternal-fetal medicine specialists for managing high-risk pregnancies.
  • 24/7 in-house anesthesiology services available.
  • Responsibilities encompass: OB triage, patient admissions, attending deliveries, inpatient care, managing unassigned patients, private call coverage, overseeing the OB floor, ER consultations for GYN emergencies, assisting in surgical procedures such as cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, and emergency response during labor and delivery.
  • Shifts are structured as 24-hour in-house commitments.
Qualifications
  • Possession of an active Texas medical license or active IMLC is required.
  • Board Certification in OB/GYN with recent hospitalist experience is mandatory.
