Key Responsibilities- Mail Processing
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail according to predefined procedures.
- Ensure all mail is processed promptly and accurately.
- Scanning and Imaging
- Operate scanning equipment to capture images of checks, payment coupons, and other documents.
- Verify the quality and clarity of scanned images, making adjustments as necessary.
- Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all items are processed correctly.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
- Compliance and Security
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all processed information.
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a lockbox or payment processing environment is preferred.
- Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and move mail trays and packages up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while performing tasks.
- Manual dexterity required for operating scanning equipment and handling documents.
