Job Overview

  • Licensing: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Safety Compliance: This role is safety-sensitive; candidates must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to work in various environments and lift up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Implementing safety protocols and project safety plans.
  • Supporting field teams with safety and technical assistance.
  • Collaborating with project teams to create Hazard Risk Analysis Matrices.
  • Coordinating training and onboarding schedules.
  • Tracking production metrics and reporting findings.
  • Managing material procurement processes.
  • Facilitating communication between project and safety teams.
  • Estimating material quantities necessary for construction tasks.
  • Conducting field verification of production metrics.
  • Monitoring quality control for construction materials.
  • Ensuring material deliveries meet project specifications.
  • Preparing and managing project submittals.
  • Scheduling subcontractors and material deliveries.
  • Assisting Project Managers with financial applications and project forecasting.
  • Securing necessary permits and conducting utility locates prior to project initiation.
Preferred Experience

Candidates with the following experience are preferred:

  • Background in Heavy Civil or Industrial Construction.
  • Ability to interpret project documents, including plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Heavy Job systems is advantageous.
