Role Overview:

As a vital member of Forrester's core sales team, you will cultivate enduring relationships with established high-tech client accounts, enhance client engagement, and identify avenues for growth.

You will gain expertise in the high-tech sector and assist clients in executing customer-centric, go-to-market strategies that drive their growth.

As a trusted advisor to executives in strategy, sales, marketing, and product development, you will partner with leaders who influence and propel their business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a trusted business consultant for your clients by leveraging Forrester's esteemed research on emerging technologies, customer experience, and the methodologies for scaling high-growth enterprises.

Collaborate with Forrester's elite industry analysts and ecosystem to provide and implement tailored client solutions. Formulate and execute a territory strategy aimed at fostering customer growth.

Identify critical business initiatives, engage new cross-functional buying groups, and create sales opportunities to enhance contract value and client retention.

Stay close to your clients. Listen attentively to comprehend their business needs, competitive landscape, vision, and objectives.

Build and maintain relationships with executive-level contacts to grasp their evolving technology environments, acknowledge the complexity of their challenges, and pinpoint new sales opportunities within the account.

Employ our client engagement model to deliver exceptional value and client satisfaction.

Utilize our comprehensive buyer insights research, buyer-aligned sales processes, and effective internal sales tools and technologies to achieve superior results.

Meet overall renewal and enrichment targets for assigned territory accounts. Clearly articulate the value of Forrester's unique offerings. Maintain expertise in our product and service portfolio to align the right solutions with client requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated history of high-performance sales.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Five to six years of experience in a B2B consultative sales environment or as a successful SDR/BDR, selling intangible products, concepts, and solutions to business leaders.
  • Relevant B2B industry experience, such as in technology, financial services, business services, professional services, or healthcare.
  • Proficient in relationship building, consultative selling, prospecting, and delivering outstanding customer experiences through a "customer-focused" approach.
  • Experience with omnichannel outreach to engage new buying groups and prospects.
  • Skilled in negotiating advanced opportunities and selling to executive-level contacts.
  • Experience in territory forecasting and proactive, systematic pipeline management within a CRM system.
