As a Surety Associate Client Manager, you will play a vital role in our operations by managing the preparation and processing of surety bonds. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and organizing bonds, consents, riders, applications, indemnity agreements, and related correspondence.
- Reporting bond details to surety companies efficiently.
- Generating invoices for new bonds, premium adjustments, and renewals as directed.
- Collecting bid results and reporting them to sureties.
- Managing electronic filing, copying, delivery, and overnight shipments.
- Assisting in the organization and maintenance of client underwriting files under moderate supervision.
- Supporting the Surety Manager with various projects as needed.
- Engaging professionally and promptly with clients and underwriters through various communication channels.
- Performing the duties of this role within an IMA office environment consistently.
- Upholding and exemplifying IMA's core values.
- Recognizing and valuing the significance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all associates.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing and processing surety bonds.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Property and Casualty Insurance license, including all required continuing education.
- Capability to secure and maintain a California Notary Commission.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Detail-oriented with strong skills in priority management.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and surety companies.
- Experience in problem-solving and proficiency in intermediate-level mathematics.
- Familiarity with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel), EPIC, and FoxIt is preferred.
- Limited local travel may be necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:
