Position Overview:

The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in providing a warm welcome and exceptional service to guests throughout their stay. This position involves registering guests, managing reservations, and performing concierge duties, all while ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently and courteously.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel rates, packages, and special promotions to assist guests effectively.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard and respond to requests for information, mail, and messages promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework is a plus.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and solve problems effectively.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic and comfortable handling financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
