About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Home Care team. As a key member of our team, you will provide patient-first healthcare and work alongside passionate caregivers to deliver cutting-edge technology to patients' doorsteps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation to home care patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
  • Direct respiratory caregivers for delivery of care.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Assess patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
  • Perform advanced respiratory care modalities, evaluate respiratory practice, administer medications and treatments, and perform blood gas puncture and analysis.
  • Educate patients and families about the illness and provide information about community support groups and other programs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Ohio Respiratory Care Board licensure.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Valid state driver's license (VDL), good driving record, and ability to obtain and maintain eligibility as determined by CCF's insurance carrier's requirements to operate foundation vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in critical care.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to sit or stand the majority of a work day.
  • Requires full range of motion. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
