Job Summary

The Cardiac Registered Respiratory Therapist PRN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Unit. This includes assessing and treating patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education to patients and families on cardiopulmonary health
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care
  • NBRC RRT certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS certification preferred
