Account Manager, Autonomous Mobile Robots Specialist

About the RoleWe're seeking an Account Manager to join our New Mobility group. This individual will be responsible for managing sales related to our New Mobility AMR & Software suite of services. We're looking for someone with a background in robotics and a passion for sales and customer relations.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales customers, with regular touch points to understand their needs and operations.
- Work cross-functionally to manage customer needs and resolve issues.
- Manage the commercial elements of each opportunity throughout pre-sales, development, and after SOP to identify and address commercial issues.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers (Software & AMR) to understand customer issues and improve our AMR & Software suite of services.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and drive market growth targets, aligning with our overall business strategy.
- Work with the Sales Director to establish and monitor the sales process, including CRM tool configuration and management.
- Create sales metrics, dashboards, and establish review meetings on a regular cadence with other teams (product, engineering, manufacturing, deployment, and leadership).
- Plan, lead, and manage the quote process for targeted Magna divisions to completion, spending time at/with the divisions to understand their requirements and gain knowledge of figures and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure opportunities deliverables and timing are understood by the Magna New Mobility extended team, and customer expectations are met.
We're looking for a Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management, substantial knowledge of robotics and software commercialized as a service, and a proven track record of closing deals.
Preferred experience in robotics or automation industries, customer-facing roles, documenting and reporting updates and current onsite activities, and a passion for and ability to easily pick up new technologies.
