About the RoleThis position will be responsible for developing and refining robotics software, particularly perception technologies, with a primary focus on utilizing Lidar. The main responsibilities of the position include:
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and refine algorithms for Lidar-based perception to detect objects and ensure precise positioning in a dynamic environment.
- Develop advanced algorithms for path planning, mapping, and navigation using C/C++ programming language with real-time processing and performance optimization.
- Conduct testing and validation of perception algorithms in simulated and real-world environments.
- Analyze data to identify and rectify any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
- Experience with Lidar technology and its application in robotic perception & localization.
- Strong background in algorithm development, particularly in Object detection, object tracking, SLAM, Kalman-filter, odometry, or related areas.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python.
- Deep understanding with robotics software frameworks, especially ROS for developing and testing robotic applications.
- Master's or higher degree in Engineering including but not limited to: Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
- Preferred experience with object detection, graph SLAM, LIO-SAM, GTSAM, Move_base, AprilTag, and ROS.
- Preferred experience various sensor technologies, such as LIDAR, IMU, and cameras.
