Order Management Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Order Management Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the flow of orders from the point of sale to the kitchen staff and subsequently to the delivery team.

This role involves ensuring that all items on the order are gathered from the culinary team once they are ready, confirming that the order is complete and meets the specified standards before it is handed to the customer.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and enthusiastic welcome as they approach the service area, ensuring their needs are addressed.
  • Compile all orders as they are completed by the kitchen staff, ensuring efficient processing and that all necessary items, sauces, and condiments are included.
  • Communicate effectively with the delivery team to guarantee timely and accurate food delivery to each dine-in customer.
  • Prepare food for takeout as requested, ensuring all items are included and inform the customer when their order is ready.
  • Utilize the order management system to ensure that all orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine willingness to engage warmly and attentively with both customers and team members.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to read order tickets, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues, ensuring order precision.

Adept at identifying any issues in the workflow and effectively communicating these challenges.

Outstanding organizational skills and capability to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of orders.

No formal education beyond high school is required.
