Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties in South Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing excellent customer service to residents, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Operations: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, including routine and emergency repairs, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of our properties, including rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Resident Relations: Provide excellent customer service to residents, respond to their concerns and issues, and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with them.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train on-site staff to ensure they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including fair housing laws and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.
  • Certifications: Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) required; Management Occupancy Review (MOR) designation and Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) Specialist designation preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Spanish and English.

Benefits:

  • Salary: Annual salary of $50,000-$52,000.
