We are currently seeking a Senior Operational Finance Analyst who will be instrumental in supporting the company’s mission and long-term objectives. This position will oversee operational financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives, providing critical financial insights to drive business performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will ensure compliance with internal financial processes and policies while also leading and mentoring other analysts. This role reports directly to the VP of Finance.

This position requires in-office attendance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Collaborate with various business units to deliver financial leadership through proactive and insightful analysis and reporting. Evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and KPIs against budgets, forecasts, and historical data, identifying variance drivers and working with management to recommend actionable improvements.
  • Effectively communicate financial and performance outcomes to both Operational and Executive leadership.
  • Manage financial business cases, including DCF models, ensuring the accuracy of inputs and conducting sensitivity analyses to provide comprehensive financial recommendations.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial analysis and operational dashboards aimed at enhancing cost control, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Analyze financial data to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Design and create reports using Power BI, Qlik, or Excel, focusing on automation and continuous improvement of reporting processes.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses related to capital expenditure projects and strategic initiatives.

Forecasting, Budgeting, and Strategic Planning

  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process for multiple business segments, constructing financial statements and capital expenditure plans based on key business drivers.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models, overseeing the collection and preparation of all necessary inputs during updates.
  • Support the executive leadership team in preparing and communicating inputs for the Long-Range Plan.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting from an accredited institution; MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in financial reporting and modeling or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Net Suite.
  • Familiarity with budgeting systems, Adaptive preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Proven experience in supporting forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
