Overview:
As a Senior Financial Process Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the standardization of financial processes across Panasonic Automotive Systems of America (PASA). Your expertise will be instrumental in the development of innovative financial systems that facilitate the efficient flow of information, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the standardization of financial operations throughout PASA.
- Collaborate with IT and key stakeholders to identify and resolve existing challenges and inefficiencies in financial workflows.
- Promote the effective utilization of financial systems and tools across the organization.
Daily Activities:
- Work closely with IT, finance, and business stakeholders to pinpoint current issues and inefficiencies in financial processes.
- Develop process documentation to serve as a reference for financial system design and process improvement.
- Champion the One PASA initiative within finance, outlining the strategy for accounting and finance process standardization and best practices.
- Lead training programs to enhance the proficiency of users in PASA financial systems.
- Foster knowledge sharing among finance and accounting teams.
- Assist in establishing a shared service center of excellence.
- Promote a culture focused on process improvement, ensuring robust internal financial controls.
- Advocate for Continuous Improvement and Lean practices.
- Identify potential changes in business conditions that may require adjustments in financial processes or system design.
- Recommend enhancements to the current financial system framework.
- Mentor and develop finance teams.
- Organize and prioritize activities to achieve defined goals and objectives.
- Support senior management in daily operational decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; technical degrees may be considered with relevant practical experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role within a multinational manufacturing environment (automotive experience preferred).
- Extensive experience with SAP ERP systems is essential.
- Experience across various financial disciplines (operational finance, commercial finance, FP&A, etc.).
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
