We are in search of a highly skilled Operations Executive to oversee the comprehensive management of our multi-site temperature-controlled distribution centers.

The Operations Executive will be responsible for providing strategic direction and supervision in key areas such as food safety standards, operational excellence, performance management, profit and loss oversight, customer engagement, and the continuous development of future leaders and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to general managers across multiple facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and food grade standards in production, storage, and distribution.
  • Assess overall operations and establish both short-term and long-term objectives to fulfill customer and organizational goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of warehousing, distribution, packaging, and transportation to meet company and customer requirements while prioritizing food quality and employee safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and make informed decisions to enhance safety, value, service, and operational effectiveness while maintaining profitability.
  • Direct programs to safeguard the well-being of all associates, equipment, and property.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company, customer, and regulatory agency standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, general managers, customers, and company stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience managing fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, inventory, and cost control.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multiple facilities at a director level.
  • OSHA certification and expertise in regulatory compliance are essential.
  • Experience in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies; certification is preferred.
  • AIB certification is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Strong background in customer service.
  • A minimum of 10 years of operational leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced food-grade 3PL environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of large temperature-controlled warehousing operations, including packaging and experience in consumer packaged goods distribution.
  • Experience with a leading provider of temperature-controlled warehousing and 3PL contract logistics.
  • Exceptional organizational and continuous improvement skills.
  • Flexibility and readiness to support systems around the clock as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A broad range of leadership skills, particularly in operational leadership, safety, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback to foster team growth, productivity, and profitability.
  • Experience with performance management systems, progressive discipline, and safety reporting is required.
