Shurm Homes is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Sales and Marketing departments, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and communication throughout the entire build process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily customer service interactions on behalf of Shurm Homes, ensuring a positive homeowner experience.
  • Develop and implement weekly marketing and communications strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Learn and present Shurm Homes product knowledge to customers, highlighting its unique features and benefits.
  • Support marketing and sales initiatives, including project positioning, timelines, social media, sales center, and model design/set up, advertising, signage, collateral design, etc.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution of marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create and maintain marketing materials and community identity.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining website presences on a community and home-specific level.
  • Research and gather estimates and sources for marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain vendor databases, community marketing files, and marketing collateral inventory.
  • Proofread and fact-check all marketing materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Coordinate sales center initiatives and maintain a clean and organized sales center environment.
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained across all projects.
  • Support social media and online reputation management for all communities.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, including maintaining marketing material inventory.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college.
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and creative thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions and roles concurrently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Suite.
Background Check Policy

All offers of employment at Shurm Homes are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates and on all employees who are promoted, as deemed necessary.

Background checks will include:

  • Social Security Verification: validates the applicant's Social Security number, date of birth, and former addresses.
  • Prior Employment Verification: confirms applicant's employment with listed companies, including dates of employment, position held, and additional information available pertaining to performance rating, reason for departure, and eligibility for rehire.
  • Personal and Professional References: calls will be placed to individuals listed as references by the applicant.
  • Educational Verification: confirms applicant's claimed educational institution, including years attended and degree/diploma received.
  • Criminal History: includes review of criminal convictions and probation.

The following additional background searches will be required if applicable to the position:

  • Motor Vehicle Records: provides a report on an individual's driving history in the state requested.
  • Credit History: confirms candidate's credit history.
