Strategic Materials Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Materials Coordinator to join our team at M&H Valve in Birmingham, AL.
This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules and priorities to ensure the delivery of quality products with superior service levels.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and disseminate production schedules and priorities to facility supervisors and managers.
- Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and departments to ensure the delivery of quality products with superior service levels.
- Plan daily production schedules and revise them as needed due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.
- Suggest changes in work conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 5 years of related work experience (planning/scheduling) or High School Diploma (or equivalent) required with a minimum 10 years of related work experience (planning/scheduling).
- Sound decision making and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate others to accomplish goals.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and flexibility.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Microsoft Office Applications (Excel/Outlook) experience required.
- Microsoft D365 or other ERP/MRP Software experience a plus.
- ASCM certification/working knowledge of ASCM principles a plus.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
